Caravan & Motor home servicing: Sudbury Caravans service all makes of caravans & motor homes whilst keeping the manufacturers warranties intact. We are also approved to carry out warranty repairs to Bucanneer, Compass, Elddis and Xplore caravans and motor homes from new, fulfilling the terms of their warranty.

Our workshops are purpose built with specialist lifts for motorhomes and caravans to provide a comprehensive repair service extending to major insurance work and damp repairs.

We offer a vehicle safety check, MOT prep and taking the vehicle for MOT testing. The motor home vehicle safety check covers Wheel clearance, tyre condition and pressure, road lights and reflectors, check and lubricate spare wheel mechanism, wipers, coolant level, oil level, screenwash and horn.

Warranty repairs to appliances fitted to any vehicle regardless of make.

We also carry our servicing and repairs to trailers and horseboxes.

Fridge service: Has your fridge failed on gas? 90% of the time a service will sort the problem out.

ALDE Heating fluid change: Does the fluid in your ALDE system need replacing? On leaving the factory it will usually have a blue 2 year life fluid. It is recommended to change this within the two years (to keep the anti corrosion properties). We have the pump system to change it and remove the air locks, refilled with a 5 year life fluid.

Warranty Claims

Please note we usually only carry out warranty repairs for vehicles that we have serviced, if this is not the case then we will carry out the work subject to an admin fee. (Payable whether the claim is successful or not). In the event of the warranty provider not covering the whole cost of the work then the balance will be payable by the customer.

Vehicle drop off,collection and condition

Vehicles should be here for 8:30 - 9:00 or the working day before if more convenient. If you are unable to do this please let us know now.

We are open 8:30 to 4:00 Mon - Fri and 9:00 - 12:00 on Saturdays

Please ensure that:

The vehicle is empty of all items that will hinder our access to work or move about within it.

If a damp test is being undertaken we need to be able to take readings where the floor and walls and walls and ceiling meet.

The toilet tank is empty and clean.

If a service, all loose items to be tested are present, eg. pumps, mains lead, motor mover control etc. All the keys to the vehicle and to any extra locks.

Please be on site by 9 AM (or the previous day if more convenient)

When the work is completed we will contact you, please would you collect the vehicle within two working days of being notified as we have limited storage space. We charge storage @ £10.00 per day for any vehicles left with us after this period.
